behind the social issues

In the state of Guerrero there are many hidden problems, several of which came to light on September 26 and 27, 2014, with the events in Iguala when the army and organized crime disappeared 43 students. Guerrero has the most prolific production of opium gum with 42% of the country's total. Several of the poorest municipalities in Mexico and even in Latin America are here. In 2006, the National Population Council considered Cochoapa el Grande the poorest and most marginalized municipality in Mexico, and in 2008 the United Nations mentioned that levels of economic development have been even lower than those of Zambia in Africa. In addition, the Human Development Index, a social statistical indicator composed of three parameters: long and healthy life, education and standard of living, is the lowest in the state. Today few things have changed.
